Since early 2005, a group of concerned citizens from Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich has met to consider options for the best form of governance for the Region of Waterloo. This grassroots group is composed of regional residents from all walks of life whose common goal is to develop a better government model for Waterloo Region while still preserving the identities and character of existing communities and neighborhoods within the Region.

Citizens for Better Government (CFBG) is eager to engage the wider community in the discussion. This is a grassroots approach to reform and relies on your input. If you believe there is a need for govenment  reform in Waterloo Region, we'd like to hear your views on what changes you would like to see.
